Since 2006, Boris has worked tirelessly to harness the value of virtual worlds for clients like IBM, Saatchi Health and Wellness, Yahoo!, Flashpoint: The Academy of Media Arts and Sciences, Harvard University, and The FutureWork Institute. Since 1996, Boris has been a leader in New York’s new media industry. He developed The eZone, the first ever web based distance learning application to award college credit, served as CTO for VOTE.COM, the largest political portal in the world in 1999 – 2000 and continues to consult the United Nations on peacekeeping applications of emerging web technologies. He holds degrees in Philosophy and Computer Science from Oberlin College.
