Caroline Avey has over fifteen years experience in instructional strategy,
design and development, consulting with Fortune 500 companies on learning
paths, competency models, curriculum design, needs assessments, as well as
strategies for curriculum deployment and development of informal learning
strategies. Over the past three years, Caroline research has led to working
with a variety of new media including live experiential simulations, games,
web-based training with simulated learning paths and most recently designing
and facilitating synchronous and asynchronous for 3D virtual worlds; using
these new modalities as viable extensions to a traditional blended learning
model. As a consultant Caroline has supported companies with the development
of innovative learning strategies and delivery modalities globally,
including Europe, Central Europe, the Pacific Rim, India, and South America.
