David Klevan joined the Division of Outreach Technology as an Education
Manager in February 2005, where he applies instructional design solutions to
further the use of technology to achieve the educational goals of the museum
in its programs and exhibitions. David designs and develops distance
learning projects, Internet-based learning activities, and online
educational events. Prior to his work in the Division of Outreach
Technology, David was a staff member of the Museum’s Education Division
where he developed and implemented programs for school groups, teachers, and
law enforcement officers, as well as training programs for museum docents.
Mr. Klevan earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison (1990) and his master’s degree in Education at the Harvard
Graduate School of Education (2004).
